The adventure

Walk from a small riverside recreation site into an easy slice of Blackfoot River country. Use Morgan's Bridge as your doorway to the Blackfoot and make a short out-and-back along the river corridor. The site includes an undeveloped put-in/take-out for floaters.

Start from Morgan's Bridge recreation-site parking, walk roughly half a mile along the river corridor, reach a quiet turnaround away from the developed sites, return to the same parking area. A vault toilet is available at the recreation site. Most campsites are vehicle-accessible, so give campers their space.

ONCE YOU’RE THERE Park inside the Morgan's Bridge recreation area east of Blackfoot. Follow durable river-side ground without cutting through occupied campsites, keep the Blackfoot as your handrail, turn around around the half-mile mark, and return.

LOCAL INTEL There are no dumpsters on site.
