Point to point

The adventure

Rock City is a playful sandstone landscape tucked into the woods of Coopers Rock State Forest. Massive rock blocks, narrow corridors and weathered surfaces create a natural maze that invites careful exploration without requiring a technical climbing route.

The state park describes Rock City Trail as an easy-to-moderate one-mile trail beginning at Picnic Shelter 3. Follow the established route through the rock formations, watching your footing where roots and stones interrupt the path. This is a great complement to the nearby overlook, but the focus here is the sculpted rock environment rather than the canyon panorama.

ONCE YOU’RE THERE

LOCAL INTEL

TRAIL CONDITIONS & SAFETY
