Blue Run Park Rainbow River Paths

The clear water of the Rainbow River gives Blue Run Park an irresistible centerpiece. Just off downtown Dunnellon, paved and natural paths weave between river views and shady patches of forest, offering a compact but memorable escape into spring-fed Florida scenery.

It is easy to spend more time here than the mileage suggests. Watch paddlers move along the bright water, notice how the forest changes away from the river, and take the quieter footpaths when the popular launch area is busy.

ONCE YOU’RE THERE

Use the main parking lot just east of the Rainbow River bridge. Follow the park’s paved path and signed natural connectors for a loop or out-and-back, returning to the same lot.
